My next guided tour is to Gamla Stan (Old Town). Gamla Stan is one of the must-see in Stockholm. It is a definite tourist destination. This place is always crowded with tourists and everything is over-priced here. I back with the guided tour from Free Tour Stockholm again! My first experience with them was a guided tour to Sodermalm. I got the same guide again the second time - Peter. Of course, he did not remember me. The amount of tourists that join the group is so overwhelming but it is so cool that he could hold the group together with his jokes and stories. We met in front of the exit of T-Central station.
I did not know about this little statue until Peter brought us here. This is the smallest statue in Stockholm. Its name is Iron Boy and is 15cm tall. This statue is also pitied upon till he gets a woolen scarf and cap during winter (as seen in the photo).
We got a group photo taken in front of the statue of St. George and the Dragon.
We stopped by at the narrowest street in Stockholm before the 1.5 hour walk ended. There is nothing spectacular inside except being really narrow.
Mårten Trotzigs gränd (Swedish: "Alley of Mårten Trotzig") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Leading from Västerlånggatan and Järntorget up to Prästgatan and Tyska Stallplan, the width of its 36 steps tapers down to a mere 90 centimetres (35 in), making the alley the narrowest street in Stockholm.
