Tastebud : Downtown Camper Cafe by Scandic

Hot spinach soup with hummus and bread for SEK95 and asian salad for SEK135 at Downtown Camper Cafe (by Scandic Hotel). The salad has rice noodles, tofu and mushroom. I remembered, after having the soup, I had a bad diarrhoea and stayed in the toilet in the cafe for 30 minutes. I was not sure if it was because of the hummus or the soup.

Do you know which is the most difficult day in Sweden to get food from a restaurant? Christmas Day! Swedes celebrate Christmas on 24 December. So, after Christmas, we decided to go for a walk and by lunch time, we were looking for any opened restaurants, and there were none! We made a guess that only Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants will be opened. WRONG! None of the Chinese and Thai restaurants that we passed by were opened. We almost gave up till we saw an Indian restaurant that is opened - Tre Indier! YAHOO!

Any Indian dishes comes with rice and salad. I had the lamb kafta for SEK159 and naan bread for SEK30. It was very filling for me because I had rice. Well, it is tastier to finish the curry with naan bread. Have I mentioned yet that all curries taste the same to me now?

Tastebud : La Neta - Söder

Mexican food tonight at La Neta located in Skanstull. We tried 4 tacos. Each costs SEK24. It was a bit messy with the sauce oozing out from the tacos. The sauces were not hot at all although it is stated Hot Sauce and one of them is red in colour. They were sort of sweet. I do not remember what kind of tacos we had, but I remembered it was really good. I remembered that one of the tacos had minced beef mixed with cheese. Yummy when eaten hot and right out of the grill.
