Tastebud : Lu

Hong Kong food today at a newly-opened restaurant. The place opened last month and there were many customers today. No booking required which I like! It is drop-in so there was a queue. I enjoyed the food but a bit pricey for small portion. Look at my hands placed next to the plates. Two persons are recommended to share 3 or 4 dishes.

My friend and I shared 4 dishes:
1) Fried wantons with shrimp served with sweet and sour sauce. 135kr.
2) Deep fried whiteleg shrimp served with chili salsa. 245kr. I did not know there is such type of shrimp. Oh, this shrimp is also known as king prawn! Well, the prawn is not very huge...
3) Crispy grilled pork belly. 160kr. There is potential to be crispier but it is okay for me.
4) Mapo tofu in spicy sauce. 150kr.

We ordered a bowl of steamed rice each for 25kr and the steamed rice came in a large bowl but definitely not for 2 portions. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she said that we could request for a refill at no cost. How nice! :) I was very blunt when I pointed it out and even asked if it cost extra for a refill. Haha! Total costed us 370kr per person.

Tastebud : Hong Sushi

One fine evening, I was craving for hot and spicy soup as I had a flu. So, I went to a Chinese restaurant and had spicy tom yam chicken. It is not very spicy but soothing for my flu. Tom yam soup is a common dish in Malaysia. I think it is affordable for 125kr. There were many chicken pieces inside too.
