Tastebud : Fotografiska Museum

25 March 2025

Company's activity as Fotografiska Museum where it ended with a dinner in the restaurant. Three dishes with starters, main and appetizer. I checked the website and it costs SEK800 per person. It is not worth it, in my opinion. Portions are really small. The only thing that stood out in the dinner is the bread.

Here is the menu:
Starter - Beetroot tartare with oyster, seaweed caviar and herbs

Bread came after the starter. Very odd. The bread was so good! I wished we could have more but we could only have half.

Main - Swedish beef sirloin - potato, ox cheek, mushroom and onion.

Dessert - Blueberry - Quince curd and koji mousse. Quince is a fruit that looks like a pear. I have never heard of this fruit before. The dessert does not taste spectacular despite its name. We did not have anyone describing what the dessert is.

Such a sad-looking main dish. Just one small piece of beef sirloin. Seriously... And the onion is a joke. Half an onion? The person who did the plating should not be given this task again.

Why is a big plate necessary when the dish is so small... the cake was plain and it reminded me of fruit cake but it tasted not like fruit cake. I am guessing the yellow blob is quince curd, and the white stuff is koji mousse.

Tastebud : Yono Sabo

11 March 2025

We explored Mexican food for dinner. The three of us shared a big variety plate of the dishes. It was not on the menu so I asked if there is such an option. The waitress said yes so we took the plate. SEK429 per person. We thought it would be too much for us but there were 2 guys in the group so we could finish up the food.

The plate has grilled corn, potatoes, pork, beef, chicken, prawn and we had corn bread. YUMMY! I cannot remember what the dish is next to the grilled corn. It could be nachos.
