In my one year that I have been in Sweden, I have experienced a couple of countries' festivals - Indonesia in 2017, China (for Chinese New Year), India, Japan (for Cherry Blossom Festival), Brazil, Thailand and Indonesia again for this year 2018. It is so amazing that all these countries are willing to organise festivals in Stockholm. I guess Sweden is way too far for these countries OR there is a lot of their folk in Sweden and it is a gathering for their country folk.
Today, I went for the Brazil Festival. It was not warm, but quite windy actually that I almost froze. There were loud performances, souvenir booths and food trucks, but none of them caught my attention. My partner and I decided to settle for a burger with a piece of dry steak for SEK100 / RM50 because that was the shortest queue. Yeah, festivals usually have expensive food.
Red beans with rice and slice of orange. I wonder if this is their staple food in Brazil?
