Today, we complete the entire trail of Roslagsleden. Well, not me. I did not do 1, 2, 5 and 6. The organiser completed the entire trail. Trail 10 and 11 is by far, has the most beautiful trail for me. The trail goes near the waters and soon, we were walking next to the coastline.
Since trail 10 is quite a distance from Stockholm town, we drove to the bus stop. There were 4 cars involved in the trip. We parked at a huge parking space opposite a petrol station and walked to the bus stop - Grisslehamns Skola. We took bus 637 at 8.29am which brought us to the mid of trail 10 where we ended the last time - Älmsta. From there, we will walk back to the parking lot.
Some blueberries and mushroom plucking along the way
It was not long before we found ourselves by the coastline. It was fantastic - the sound of the waves hitting the shore, and the breeze.
We stopped for lunch with a view. Look at the perfect sunny weather.
More break stops by the coast.
After the walk, some of us gathered at Oliver Twist to have dinner. The organiser treated us to wine. I have come to a realisation that prior to any meals in a restaurant in Sweden, there will be bread and butter served.
I had an alcohol-free beer and beef with potatoes an a raw egg. Both for SEK255. I can't remember the individual prices now (I am writing this about 1.5 month later).
