Tastebud : Weidao (3rd time)

I am back in Weidao after almost 6 years. The first and second time I was here in 2018. I changed job to a different location and it was not in town so I have not been to Weidao. This time, I am here because I was taking the train for my summer holidays and the train station is in town. My friends decided this place for lunch. I had Hong Kong's pork belly with vegetables that came with rice for SEK170. This is the lunch price as I just checked the menu and the dinner price is SEK279. I am unsure of the dinner's portion but this was sufficient for me. The pork belly was so yummy and the fat melts in the mouth. Yummy. It was a big dish and I was satisfied with my meal. 

Tastebud : Bun Bo Hue

Vietnamese food for dinner! Today at Bun Bo Hue. I had Bún Thịt Nướng - I chose grilled pork and it is served with fried spring roll, rice noodles, peanuts, sesame seeds, salad, mango and pickled root vegetables. 219kr. I was not full by the meal. I think it is expensive for 2 thin slices of grilled pork. We got served complimentary prawn chips.  

Tastebud : BrewDog Kungsholmen

Today, my girlfriends and I had 'all-you-can-eat' chicken wings for 249kr per person at BrewDog Kungsholmen. Only on Wednesdays. All tables were booked. One can only sit there for 2 hours. There were 4 of us and in total, we had 8 trays of chicken wings. Each tray has 10 halves of chicken wings. The chicken wings are chopped into half so there are not many chicken wings that I had in the end. I had 8 whole chicken wings plus some cauliflower. Cauliflower were fried to look like a chicken wing. 

We took all 3 flavours which were yummy. Deep-fried chicken wings. Delicious. And unhealthy. But I enjoyed them!

From left to right - 

1) First tray - top is korean BBQ and bottom is buffalo sauce. the spiciest among all. The buffalo sauce comes with blue cheese dip. Tasted weird to me. I am not much of a cheese person. The korean BBQ comes with sriracha mayo dip.

2) Second tray - cajun lemon

3) Third tray - battered cauliflower wings served with vegan mayo dip.

Tastebud : Björkvik Bistro (4th time)

Today, I got treated for lunch at Björkvik Bistro. I have been here 3 times. As I was treated today, I decided to take the second cheapest food on the menu - fish and chips for 265kr. I had the same dish last year as my boyfriend treated me then. This year, it is his mum for her birthday. The sauce looks more this year than last year. Also, it is pickled red onions and last year was dill herb. We sat indoors this year as it was predicted to rain, and it rained half an hour later.

Oh, this year, there is no complimentary bread. It costs now to be served bread.
